There was a time when I moved through life like a shadow of myself — breathless, directionless, suspended somewhere between surviving and disappearing. My world felt muted, my spirit dimmed. I wasn’t living; I was simply lasting. And yet, somewhere in the silence, a small part of me refused to let go.

Writing became the first flicker of that stubborn spark — a place to set down the weight I couldn’t articulate, a way to relearn how to exist in my own skin. Not perfectly. Not gracefully. But truthfully.

‘Rekwēəm is my testament to that process.
